On December 6th, Liz Prato will join Willamette Writers at the Historic Old Church in Portland to show us how to master point of view. In this illuminating presentation, she’ll lead us through contemporary examples of how POV works in fiction and nonfiction, from the modern classics of Harper Lee and J.D. Salinger to contemporary works from Jo Ann Beard and Nick Hornby. This talk will open up new worlds that will transform your writing and revising process.
Liz has been teaching writing since 2008, and her workshops are interactive and transformative. You can find out more about her at LizPrato.com.
Before you join us, take a moment to consider the POV of your own current projects. Then, Prato will help you rethink the power and possibility of POV.
Willamette Writers Portland meets on the first Tuesday of the month, 7:00-8:15 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm) at the Historic Old Church in downtown Portland. No meetings in August.
Interested? Join us! All writers welcome.
